Irrigation Design and Installation
A dedicated crew, residential and commercial
Irrigation has its own crew at Rock Solid. We are full service, and we install systems for homes and commercial properties across our Wauseon and Toledo service areas, designed around each property’s lawn, beds and layout so coverage is even.
We install Hunter irrigation, and we push for every system we put in to be remote-connected. That lets us check a system from the office, catch problems early, and keep your water bill from climbing because a head is spraying somewhere nobody is watching. Some existing customers have converted their older systems over, too.
Drip irrigation and smart controllers are available for beds and plantings, and financing options are available for new installations.

Irrigation Repairs and Maintenance
Even a well-built system needs attention. We repair leaks, broken heads and uneven coverage. On commercial accounts, irrigation checks are part of our maintenance: we do three wet checks through the summer, running the system to confirm coverage is good on every head, there are no leaks, and everything is up to date.

Spring Startups and Winterizations
Our spring startups usually run around the end of May, near Memorial Day. Blowouts, also called winterizations, usually happen around Halloween, before a hard freeze can crack pipes, fittings and valves. For a closer look at the timing, see when to winterize your sprinkler system in Ohio and what a blowout involves.
A system that isn’t blown out before a freeze can crack and leak, and those repairs show up in the spring. If your system needs a blowout this fall, call us in October.

Smart Irrigation and Water Efficiency
Remote-connected Hunter controllers are the main reason we push smart irrigation. They let us keep tabs on systems we installed, adjust schedules, and spot a problem before it shows up as a brown lawn or a high water bill. Drip irrigation is a good fit for beds, shrubs and trees, where water needs to reach the roots.
