Design-Build Landscaping in Wauseon, Toledo and Between
Designed with you, built by our own crews
Most of our best work in the last few years has been design-build: patios, walls and planting designed with you and installed by our own crews. Every project starts with a walkthrough where we shoot grade and elevation, then a 2D and 3D design, then a meeting at our shop where you choose block at full size in our design lab and tag your plants in our nursery.
A few things are true on every project:
- Techo-Bloc only for pavers and walls, with Techo-Bloc’s transferable lifetime product warranty.
- A 10-year workmanship warranty on what we install, and one year on plants.
- No customer-supplied materials, because we can’t warranty what we didn’t source.
- Native, natural-looking plants that suit Northwest Ohio.
- Book early. Our best projects are booked the fall before. Call in November and you are usually a May project.
Seating & Retaining Walls
Seat walls and retaining walls built from Techo-Bloc wall block. We shoot grade on the first visit, so we know early whether a slope needs a wall, drainage or both.
Patios & Walkways
Techo-Bloc paver and slab patios and walkways, often in Blu 60. You pick your block at full size in our design lab before anything is ordered.
Outdoor Kitchens
Bring the heart of your home into the great outdoors with our custom outdoor kitchen installations. Designed to withstand the seasons, our outdoor kitchens offer both functionality and style. We create a space that caters to your culinary pursuits and entertaining needs, incorporating ample prep areas, convenient storage, and dining spaces. Your outdoor kitchen becomes a natural extension of your living space, perfect for enjoying Ohio’s beautiful summers and crisp autumn evenings.

Carefully selected to mimic the look and feel of natural grass varieties commonly found in Northwest Ohio, our turf provides a realistic, inviting surface for play, relaxation, and aesthetic appeal. Our expert installation process ensures proper drainage and a secure, level surface, providing a safe environment for children and pets. Experience the luxury of a perfect lawn without the hassle with our artificial turf solutions.
Designs & Renderings
2D and 3D drawings you see before you commit, reviewed in person at our shop. If something changes mid-project, we redraw it so you can compare the options side by side.

Whether connecting different levels of your yard or providing access to your home’s entrance, our step designs prioritize both functionality and aesthetic appeal. We select materials that complement your landscape and home’s architecture, ensuring a cohesive look throughout your property. Our step installations offer slip-resistant surfaces and sturdy construction to ensure safe passage for you and your guests. We carefully assess your landscape’s slope and drainage to create steps that are properly proportioned and aligned, providing a comfortable, stable transition between spaces.
Paver Cleaning & Sealing
Cleaning and sealing for paver patios and walkways, including the patios we build. Sealing is part of the maintenance quote we put together after we finish a hardscape project.
Mulching
Mulch installs and yearly top-ups for landscape beds, often as part of the maintenance plan we put together after an install.
