Whether a project needs a retaining wall usually comes out on the first site visit. We walk the property with you, shoot grade and elevation, and look at where the water goes. Some yards need a wall to hold a slope. Some just need a seat wall to frame a patio. Some need drainage work before anything else.

Every wall we build uses Techo-Bloc wall block, which carries Techo-Bloc’s transferable lifetime product warranty. Our 10-year workmanship warranty covers what the manufacturer’s warranty does not: the base and the installation.

Choosing Your Block

You choose the block at our shop. Our design lab has a Techo-Bloc mix-and-match set, so we can lay out wall block colors and textures at full size next to the paver you picked for the patio. Changes get made there, while everyone is in the room, instead of on site.

We don’t build walls from customer-supplied block. We can’t warranty material when we don’t know where it came from.

Walls are one of the most common reasons a patio budget grows. A basic patio on flat ground is the simplest version. Adding seat walls, a retaining wall for a slope, a fire pit or kitchen components each adds material and labor. We don’t quote over the phone. You get a real number after a walkthrough and a design.
